Foodly Health is an independent publication about food, nutrition, and everyday wellness. We started this site because most nutrition content online falls into one of two camps: dense academic language few people have time to read, or oversimplified claims designed to sell a supplement. We wanted something in between — articles grounded in current research, written in plain language, with practical takeaways you can use the same day you read them.
What we cover
Our writing is organized into three areas: Nutrition (how food and nutrients affect the body), Recipes (meals built around those nutrition principles), and Wellness (sleep, movement, stress, and the everyday habits that sit alongside diet). We favor practical, testable guidance over trends, and we say clearly when the evidence on a topic is mixed rather than pretending there’s a simple answer.
How we work
Every article is written or reviewed by someone with relevant background in nutrition, food science, or health writing, and we link to the primary sources — peer-reviewed studies, government health guidelines, and professional organizations — that inform our claims. Articles are dated, and when we update a piece with new information, we note the revision date at the top. You can read more about our sourcing standards on our Editorial Policy page.
What we don’t do
We don’t offer individualized medical advice, and nothing on this site replaces a conversation with your doctor, registered dietitian, or another qualified professional. We disclose when a post contains affiliate links or sponsored content, and we don’t accept payment in exchange for a positive review.
