Editorial Policy

How we source our articles

We base our nutrition and health claims on peer-reviewed research, systematic reviews, and guidance from recognized bodies (for example, national dietary guidelines, the World Health Organization, and professional nutrition associations). Where evidence is limited or mixed, we say so rather than overstating certainty.

Who writes and reviews our content

Articles are written by our editorial team and, for clinical topics, reviewed for accuracy before publishing. Author bylines appear on every article; you can see an author’s background on their author page.

Updates and corrections

Nutrition science changes. When we materially update an article, we note the revised date at the top of the post. If you spot an error, please tell us via our Contact page — we correct mistakes promptly and transparently.

Advertising and affiliate disclosure

Foodly Health may display advertising, including through Google AdSense, and may participate in affiliate programs, meaning we could earn a commission if you purchase a product through a link on our Site — at no extra cost to you. Advertising and affiliate relationships never determine our editorial recommendations. Sponsored content, if any, is always clearly labeled as such.
